Guidance in choosing a treatment:
A spa associates can assist you in selecting the treatment that is just right for you – please call our front desk at 707- 251-3000.

When should I arrive for my treatment?
To enhance relaxation we suggest arriving 30 minutes prior your scheduled appointment time.

What if I am late for my appointment?
Arriving late will shorten the length of your treatment. Your service will end at the scheduled time so that the next guest is not delayed. Full charge for your appointment will be applied.

Can I cancel my appointment at any time?
24 hours cancellation policy applies - Group cancellation may vary based on the number of guests and services reserved.

Is there a minimum age limitation?
Children under 17 years of age are not permitted in the spa.

What do I need to bring?
We provide robes and sandals and a private locker. You may want to bring a bathing suit if you feel more comfortable wearing one in our whirlpool, steam room, or if receiving a service that includes tub soaking.

Can I request a male or female therapist?
We employee both male and female therapist, please state your preference at the time of reservations.

This is my very first time visiting a spa and I feel a bit apprehensive!
Your comfort is our number one priority! We generally prefer that you disrobe completely for a full body massage or body treatment, however, you may wear undergarments if it helps you to relax. Your body will be professionally draped at all times, and only the part of the body that is being worked on will be exposed. Please communicate any discomfort, desired massage pressure, or expectation you may have with your therapist or any other spa personnel. It is our goal to make your stay with us as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.

How to receive a massage or facial:

• Take a warm shower, steam or hot whirlpool before your treatment. This will help you relax and prepare your body for massage.
• Advise your therapist about areas of your body that are tense, sore, or injured.
• Mention any medical condition such as pregnancy, heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, varicose veins, recent surgeries or if you are receiving radiation or chemotherapy.
• Advise your therapist if you have a cold, skin rash, or flu. Massage can increase the discomfort of these ailments.
• Relax! Remember this is your time to be pampered and escape from everyday stress, make the most of your Me Time!

Jewelry and valuables:
Do not bring jewelry or valuables to the spa. Lockers are assigned for personal items. Please remember not to place any valuables in your robe’s pocket; Spa Terra does not assume responsibility for lost items.

Shaving before a gentleman’s facial
Shaving is not necessary, however if do shave please do so a minimum of 3 plus hours prior to your scheduled service.

Shaving before a body exfoliation or scrub
Please do not shave the same day of your treatment. Scrubs can irritate newly shaved skin.

What about payment for treatments?
We accept all major credit cards, and you may pay in cash, traveler’s checks, or charge to your resort’s room.. Personal checks are accepted only if you live locally.

What about gratuities or tips?
A gratuity of 20% of the cost of the service is appropriate and appreciated

Is a Spa Lunch and beverage available?
Some of our packages include a lunch and or a glass of bubbly or wine. You may also order lunch and a favorite beverage for an additional cost. Please see our a la carte menu in our lunch menu for choices and price list.

Considerations
Spa Terra is a place of serenity, rest and renewal. For the privacy of all our guests we ask that you please turn off your cell phone and place it in your locker. If you are part of a group we kindly ask you to be considerate and keep talking to a minimum, be very soft spoken and be aware of other guests seeking solitude and rest.

Smoking is prohibited throughout Spa Terra and the Estate Cave.
